Portpatrick – Walks in & around the village

Some of our favourite walks in the Portpatrick area.

Walks further afield include a couple of mountains and the ever popular Mull of Galloway. Some easier walking can be found in the next section.

Times for walks are approximate and we accept no liability for errors. We have a stock of maps for our area, some walking poles and a compass which guests are welcome to borrow when walking.

We are very keen walkers ourselves and are happy to advise guests on alternative walks in South West Scotland. If you are planning a one-way walk, we will try if possible to provide transport to the start of the walk.

Portpatrick is situated at the top of the Mull of Galloway and is a great centre for walking.
